I
was watching a movie the other night about how man was venturing
1200 ft under the ocean to investigate an alien space craft that
had been there for over 300 years. Their journey led them to the
bottom of the ocean where they set up camp to investigate for an
extended period of time. A few days into the investigation one man
ventured out without permission to make contact with this alien.
He was rendered unconscious and had to be rescued.
This
is where the fun begins. Dangerous and unexplainable things began
to happen. Finally they realized that the man who made contact with
the alien was causing these things to happen with his thoughts.
Whatever he thought about actually materialized. Of course,
most of his thoughts were of things he feared, like the monsters
of the deep. So they put him into a deep sleep where he couldn't
think or dream. However, these strange things kept happening. So
the team figured that the man who rescued this guy was also contaminated.
As it turned out they were all doing it. Whatever they thought,
whatever their fears were, became reality. It was difficult
to tell what was reality and what was a figment of their thoughts
and fears.
How
Your Thoughts Impact Your Life
I
find this to be so ironic because it is true for all of us. Thoughts
and words impress the subconscious so profoundly that they soon
become reality. This is a universal law, called the Law of Attraction,
that governs every being who has consciousness. Thoughts and words
go out into the universe with a unique vibration that attracts similar
vibrations to it. Then if the body gets involved, such as with music,
movement, fear, anger, etc., the attraction becomes stronger. It
is of utmost importance to choose our words and thoughts carefully
for we are always thinking and speaking and therefore always creating.
To deliberately create what we want requires taking an interest
in our thoughts. I have heard it said, As a man thinketh in his
heart, so is he.
Which
means to me that whatever we believe about ourselves, or have been
programmed to believe about ourselves, will be. Imagine for a moment
that your mind is like a genie. That whatever you think, the genie
will make it so. Now sit down and recall some of the thoughts you've
had about yourself today: I'm coming down with a cold, I'm too heavy,
I'm not smart enough, I just don't have the time, or I don't have
enough money to pay these bills this month. Your genie is working
madly on your behalf, helping you to destroy yourself. Other people
come out of the woodwork to support your genie in this destructive
thought process. Pretty soon you create your own monster just like
in the movie.
Wisdom's
Path of Peace
Think
and speak successful thoughts and it will happen: think and speak
failure and it will happen. When someone gives you advice, be selective
about the information you decide to give to your genie. Wisdom's
ways are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are of peace. Start
to train yourself to find the truth of your own heart and not be
swayed by other people's truths. Your answers will come through
your intuition, a book, a movie, another person, etc. Be on the
lookout for your answers: expect them!
